Just a friendly reminder to make sure not to disable your firewall completly when playing BF2.

hi ive picked up something off the net . the date keeps changing on my pc . yesterday my norton subscription went from 116 days to zero days ? im calling symantec today to see if i can fix it , if not complete reformat

lots of other weird stuff is hapening also . ive done multiple scans and nothing has shown up

Sorry to hear that man. I dunno whats going on. Maybe it's a hardware issue -hard drive getting ready to go down?.. I think you can reset the date in bios (you all ready knew that though). Good luck. And stop visiting those sites *wink wink. J/K

Uninstall Norton and try a decent AV program such as Nod32 from Eset. You can use their 30 trial version and see if it picks up anything that Norton missed.

I see a lot of systems that are running Norton & Viruses!

Thats bullshit, they probably broadcasted thier IP heaps, and visited heaps of dodgey sites - 53 attacks in one day? Puhhleeese, there are millions of computers on the internets, and 53 hax0rs chose to attack that specific one?

53 attempts in one day is quite possible.....the baddies send out a bot to look for certain ports if it finds one it logs the IP address for someone to try to hack later....but the fact it found your open port it logs it as an attempt to hack when in fact it is not....

Best way to stop it is a good firewall and stealth your ports!
