who cares. i play on pistol and knives on my Total_Dipshit account (http://bf2s.com/player/75935021/) and my sumaliia account (http://bf2s.com/player/78965753/)
and as far as i care, it is the most fun on bf2 that ive had in a while. if you have never been on a pistol and knife server, you need to. seriously. its so much better then nade spamming APC whores. the game is much more civilized then a regular or IO game, and medics do their job fantasically. the teamwork on these things is incredible! if your looking to have a fun time, you need to play P&K. im not even kidding. it was up there in some of the most enjoyable rounds ive had. after 20 hours, i still havent gotten wiped.

go out and play P&K now.

I know, I recently unpatched to 1.12. I made a new account "ChinesePilot" Most ALL of the points are padding, or camping in the Hotel, or kidnapping. It's got 8000 pts plus. No reset. GREAT fun, though everyone bitches at you, it's a blast. Get the sticks outta your asses.

Playing pistol & knife servers is sorta like stat-padding. Almost everyone plays medic simply because you get loads of points from revives and heals apart from the kills themselves. So its almost impossible to get killed. I used to play P&K all the time but then I stopped because my stats were going to high and I felt like stat-padder. On the other hand, getting practice on P&K servers can really help you out as a sniper in normal servers.

I actually find P&K servers fun as well. I dont play them often, but I have a few times, and I enjoy it. It adds a whole different type of game play.

Thats kinda like IO mode also. If your support or medic, you can run around giving out ammo and heals constantly.

I have a secondary account I use for pk, as well as other less savory deeds.. It is alot of fun, but very often it degrades into a stat pad and I just wanna throw a grenade in the middle...

oh yeah, this is my "asshat" account "Throwing Frag!!"

The account is also great for inventive chopper/C4 ramming missions!! WEEEEE!!

i agree, Total dipshit has about 200 points from kidnapping, the OMGSTATSPADDER one has all points from kidnapping/statpadding.

Never really saw how k&p servers are "fun" (save for whipping out a shotgun ak at them). Basically everyone just gets in one big mass of bodies and starts shooting. Its more boring than playing Karkand with 2 teams full of noobs. Yeah medics revive you you get ammo quickly, but everyone is out in the open with practically the same weapons. The hardest part is just managing to shoot the bunnyhoppers.

Doing the same exact thing at the same exact place with the same exact people over and over and over again just really does meet my definition of fun.
