My favourite kits thus far in 2142 have to be assault (cause of the med supplies and shock "tri-paddle" thing), and Engineer. So it's on my list.
Have you even used it?
I may get it just to defend the titan when the enemy comes to it.
I would be useful to have but I already have my sights set on the Ganz and Lambert, they where the guns I unlocked in the beta.

I'm not getting the SAAW. The static AA in 2142 is god like. And they are everywhere.
Yeah its damn good against Titans Defence guns too. Basicly you can yourself keep the guns at bay if you allready destroyed all 3 of them ^^
gotcha. Thats a lame upgrade btw. I have found out engineer is probably the worst class. Unless u have the mines or emp grenades its alright. But the anti-air-tank missles dont do enough damage and its not a good thing waiting to reload while a walker is looking straight at you. Its a suicide kit.

wiat a second, you got to unlock things in bf2142 beta? bastards....there should be a server where all unlocks are already unlocked so we can test them - just like the bf2 demo last year
I've used the SAAW-86. It is a very handy thing. You have two missiles for each re-load, it locks on really well, just two hits on a gunship destoys it, (more on a transport,) and they only defence they have is the shield, or a lucky swerve.
The SAAW isn't really effective on the Titan guns any more than core engineer AV guns are, in fact they're mnot useful on anything except the air veichles, (as it should be.) If you're really enthusiastic about killing some pilot nubs then it's great for the job.

Isn't it funny how you only get a portable AA missile until after aerial vehicles are totally nerfed? I actually tested the transports on a near-empty server, and I hate how it has been n00bified. I don't mind it being nerfed, I do mind it beeing n00bified till a 2-year old could pilot it.
Oh, and I only have played the demo. And so far, I usually wind up liking engy.
However, my funnest moment, ironically, came the only time I played recon. I was getting killed a bit by a sniper, so I spawned recon to counter-snipe. Some guy, I think he was the sniper, came in, fired off a few pistol rounds at me and knocked me to 34% health, and in close combat, I knifed him. Another guy came up and I blew him away with my pistol. Then the server crashed.
