If you have made an account, and you havent logged on to it or played the game lets say for a year, does your account expire or something? I have made one before and i forgot my pw and log in name, and lost it, so im wondering if i could play again without buying another cd key?

You can ask steam for a key if you have an old account, cos` they can confirm u had an old account via database provided you give the details etc.
