Having gotten the idea from ...teddy...jimmy's thread in the 'Not BF2, Not BF2s' section I thought I'd prepare a little survey to facilitate generalisations, accusations and other such assumed-profile driven comments during argument/debate. I think a stay at home parent certainly is, not necessarily a mother, and only until the child is old enough for preschool or some other form of education - not just daycare.

generally is a dangerous word. Few responses are acceptable in a generalized sense other than listening and evaluation. I believe there are times when it is acceptable.

no, but it is acceptible to undermine your own democratically elected government should they be deemed to not serve the best interests of the nation. In the US, that is a fundamental element of our constitution. This is an often overlooked fact.

the globe is warming, but it is not the result of man. To quote George Carlin, "The Earth will shrug us off like a bad cold." That being said, we should be conscious of resources and what we put back into the environment.

I believe men and women are different, they have slightly different roles, this is not a slur against women and I certainly believe they should have all the same rights. There are things men are better at than women and vice versa, for example women are good at multitasking but they have shit directional hearing - there are differences.

7. Do you believe stay-at-home mums (moms) are what is best for children? Yes. Stay at home dads are not even a perfect substitute. There have been many scientists who point out the way that differing aspects of personality are taught by different parental figures. Empathy, for example, tends to be taught by the father.
