depends on how much ram you have. I have a xfx 7600gt and i play on medium settings fine with a gig on probably the worst ram u can find. But good ram+7600gt=very good. If your considering the 7600gt extreme which is 400+, dont be stupid. Buy a radeon x1950

Well im building a whole computer i have the mother board getting 2 gig ddr2 667 ram next week then a graphics card so yeah i just want to know what is best,
Oh and im not going radion last time i had one of those it caught on fire and melted most of my compt because the fan was defective and was rubbing against the actully card so yeah nvidia ftw

disregard the GS straight away i would go with the leadtek7600GT extreme, as most of them have higher clock speeds then Gigabyte.

I'd say get the cheapest, and save your cash for the nex DX10 card that come out within the next 6 months.

7900GS. If you can't afford any higher, I don't see how you can afford DX10 cards.

Seriously, Get an EVGA 7900GTO and then use the step-up plan to G80.

If you can't afford that then the 7900GS is way better than the 7600GT, if you can wait a few weeks ATI is coming out with a X1950Pro which is about the same price as a 7900GS but is way better performance wise!
