You must not be very good at this game, then.

When a weapon presents itself as being underpowered, how do you counter?
ANSWER: Aim for places without armor, what a concept. Neck and Headshots.

You can also toggle between single and automatic, if you want to get more accurate.

And trust me, if you whiners stay around for the full game, your views will instantly change when you are killed by the A-VR, the Baur, or the Clark-12 shottie.

The underlying moral of this thread is, If you cant hit something, practice; learn.
If you do both of those and you STILL blow a fat one, dont tell us about it, go play another game.

Ehh... I'm just used to BF 2, where it usually takes a lot fewer shots to kill. I didn't know that thing that most guns get more accurate with more fire (I thought that was only LMGs).

I agree 100%! It seems that many people just don't realize that every weapon in the game has a scope, zoom, firing control,or aiming aid of some type (besides the knife, of course).

Too sad the übernoobs wont practice, cause there is those junior-aimbots called "unlocks" in the game that instantly boost ur acc...
Or they just choose sniper and start throwing clays around them as soon as they spawn. Haven't seen a sniper running with their gun in a long time. All i see is snipers running around with a clay in there hands...

But you have to admit they are innacurate compared to BF2 guns. And don't give me 'single shot', what happens when you're popping away at a guy on single shot and then one runs up to you close range? Plus the slowness of general infantry movement, even worse than 1.4, and infantry is just not that fun to play.

Forget that it's a battlefield game. Treat it as something new and learn how to fire the weapons.

Remember, most of the guns in 2142 are less accurate firing bursts than they are keeping your finger on the trigger becasue they get more accurate the longer you fire. Keep bursting and you are repeatedly firing at the least accuracy.

I tried single shot and aiming with assualts basic gun and guess what 9 times out of 10 they're dead.

I dont like uber whiners to make tons of complains and ruin the games with fix request to the game makers

In BF2142 its easy to kill ur taget with basic assault rifle in 1-3 shot(s), just stop moving ->fast crouch->aim @ ur victim-> fire in rly short bursts-> target is dead probably. The as-rifle hadling in this new bf is rly easy , i get often in demo 40+% acc with basic as-rifle, my record is is 53% .

"The recruits" need more time to get used to new wpns.

When you've played BF 2 for a year and gotten used to things like a g36-E, it's a big change. Since my first "complain" post though, which was after about 2 days of demo-goodness, I do have to say you generally learn how to use the weapons more effectively.

The problem for most people is that they know (or at least, think) they're good in BF 2, but they're mowed down by newcomers in the 2142 demo. The trick is then to unlearn certain BF2-like tactics and go with firing scoped and all that. I'm quickly starting to love my assault gun and even the sniper rifles...but as for support...titan defense only for me .. .. ..

I've actually never played a game in which the weapons are so inaccurate. I should not have to take 5 seconds to stop, lie down, then wait to get decent accuracy. It feels like your soldier has never touched a weapon in his life. You can NEVER consistenly hit a stationary target that is 50 meters away. Something NEEDS to be changed.

Seriously mate get over EA, BF2 has been out for more then a year and you whine for it to be 'fixed'. Now you go to 2142 and whine about the guns being inaccurate so you want them noobed. Thats the exact problem that 'broke' bf2. So you have 3 options.

1 - Practice
2 - Stfu and Suck
3 - Play another game
