You know, something is up with my score. Whenever I reformat it's fine and usually around the time I install BF2 and my soundcard drivers my score drops about 1k. I was scorring over 9k on 06 after a reinstall. Now it is this.

you just passed your cpu's optimal point
all processors have a point at which anything o/c higher actually degrades performance....thats just how it is there is not way to fix your problem, it happens to all of us...but real good cooling will definetely help
