Freezing before game starts!!!!! :(

So what is happening, is i will log on and when i double click on a server, the screen will freeze, and it wont even jump to the loading screen.
The only way to get out of this is to restart the game, and i don't know what it is.

I have already tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game
Updating the patch
and getting the latest version of punkbuster

so now i cannot load a game or play it, so what should i do?

I've been having sum bad hangups myself. but i find that goin to take a piss and a smoke usually cures the problem. because for me it loads up normally 80% of the time

Firewall/rounter perhaps?

If not, clear your cache.

Go to your favorites and remove any servers that come up RED worked for me and i got the tip from somebody here .

Also check firewall settings.

spread margarine on your hard drive

it wont make the game work any better.

but at least you will have a margariney hard drive.

Ok, well i tired clearing all the red ones in favourites, and it did freeze again
Im going to check my firewall settings,
can somone tell me how to clear my cache?

Also defrag

scandisk

download a prog called CCleaner

do a diskclean up

check for viruses

that should do the trick.
