problems with bf 2142

jus wondering if any1 has any way of resolving my problem?
when i get to main menu in bf 2142 and i pick create soldier my game freezes causing me to do emergency turn off thing as Ctrl+Alt+Delete doesnt bring it to desktop.
i have tried loads of different ways and nutn works. Any help is gratefully aceepted

Holy shit, I played 2142 2 hours ago fine, I post this and proceed to play it, I GET THE SAME EXACT PROBLEM! I am deeply sorry for your problems Kamikaze, hope you fix them( hopefully my karkma has been put into the green now)

Yes! I have played that demo for days I duno what happend but he really is spreading it! check your demo and be sure its working!

Btw I play it on HIGH, I know i got system reqs.

I reccomend just a cleanup. Re-install.

Do I really good clean-up. Get in the nook and crannies.

Delete pictures and files you truly dont need or use as well. Uninstall programs you dont need.

Meh a lot simpler to burn/move everything you want to keep (rare music, family pictures) to another HD/CD/DVD (don't forget to "accidentally" forget that embarrassing picture of you behind) and juste format and reinstall everything. That why you're sure to have gotten all the bad stuff.

alrite now im angry >:( (ok stay calm breathe). I dunno wat it could b now cause i have tried all of the above i even downloaded the whole 1gb file again and still no gettn to actually play de game. Jus to recap on wat my exact problem is, it is when u go to create soldier screen, i click create and game freezes, background music keeps playn, ssems lik it loading but it not doin jack shit so i say fuk bf 2142 and its demo

(im sorry i really dont mean it)

LOL, I had the same thing a week ago after doing a drastic xp theme change. I just re-installed windows, and now it works fine.

Actually, i had to do another re-install today. I ain't doin' shit to my machine anymore.
