Well since you can't build a laptop as relatively easy/cheap as you can build a desktop, and he's talking about a laptop, that reply doesn't apply to him/laptops.

I think it's a good deal on a laptop, and it has a Core 2 Duo which is Saweeetah (this coming from an AMD 64 user)!  I'd go for it.

When you build you are your own support. Not to mention not everyone has the time or patience. Price isn't the only thing to look at when its time for a new machine.
