The latest 1 I've heard of was 8900 or something.. am I right?

I dont have DDR2, i have a Medion computer that had 6600 GeFroce and 512 MB Ram but got more RAM and now i want a new GC. So the 7900GTX will work for my computer? and its the best 1 out there.

I have 4 slots for RAM but only 1 for a Graphic card... i think i know what PCI-E is, is that what u mean?

its either AGP or PCI-E .. AGP is the older style graphic slot, pci-e is the newer, you should be able to tell the difference ... type into google images if not sure

dude if you want help, then more details are needed than just "I have a 6600 with 512MB RAM".
Motherboards specs would be nice too (cos you can get the 6600 in PCIe and AGP)

I would wait till January and see what happens with DirectX 10 before I spent a ton of cash on a video card that will probably drop in price once the new DirectX 10 cards are released. That being said, I currently run a EVGA 7900GTO and I love it! You need to make sure your power supply is adequate and you can keep you tower cool and you'll be fine.

I've not seen a 7950GTX. I've seen the 7950GT and the 7950GX2 - are you getting confused perchance? If not, you might want to tell Nvidia to update their website cos it ain't there either.
