Im looking to make a website. But im not sure who to get service from. Theres millions of people offering webhosting. I've already looked into hosting a website on my machine, but my computer isn't on (or working ) 24/7.
What im looking for more specificaly is someone who will offer me space for a website and allow me to have a forum that goes with the site. Kinda like here. Or most other sites. If they have a built-in website building tool that would be great, but sometimes that limits you too much. I bought a website from Godaddy.com and used there "Website tonight" builder, and personally i think it sucked. I asked there tech support if there's anyway i could have a forum with it, nope. I asked them if theres a way i could use my own template instead of what 'website tonight' offers, Nope.
Im just worried ill end up paying for something that won't allow me to do all the things i want. Im willing to learn anything i need to. Anyone own a site or know of a good website host.
I was taking a look at www.jaguarpc.com and thought this might be a site that offers all the tools i need for an excellent website, but im not sure.
