Yep. As it says in http://ubar.bf2s.com/ , 1st sgt requires 20,000 points plus Basic Knife Combat Badge, Basic Pistol Combat Badge, Basic Assault Combat Badge, Basic Anti-tank Combat Badge, Basic Sniper Combat Badge, Basic Spec Ops Combat Badge, Basic Support Combat Badge, Basic Engineer Combat Badge, Basic Medic Combat Badge. So if you dont have all of those by the time you reach 20,000 you'll get Msgt instead of 1st sgt.<<<FTDM>>>Gen.Raven wrote:

so me trying to get all the badges when i already have 20,000 points is a waste of time!?!?
In reality, the difference is that the 1sgt would hace company command and the master sgt would not...
The same goes for the master gunney and the sgt major but the command would be at the battlion level...
Officer would be Capt at company command and LtC and COL would be Battlion
The Generals start at Div or brigade and up

If you dont have them for 1SGT you might need some of them for the next rank of Sgt Major and the Generals also require some of these to acheive Rankjooshoo wrote:
