Actually, there is only one correct answer to this question, and I already gave it.

It is 'Mu' or 'no thing'. You see, turn up at the top of Mt Everest with any of the things listed in this list and you may get a Sherpa turn to you and say "Why the bloody hell did you bring that with you?!" and you'll then have to say "Because it was in the BF2s list of irrelevent things to bring to the top of Mt Everest". Thus that item becomes instantly relevent. In fact just deciding to take that item with you gives it relevence. There is no thing that you can take that will remain irrelevent. Therefor 'no thing', or 'Mu' is the only correct answer.

Scorpion, I fail to see where the relevance is in the complete first season of Beverly Hills 90210 on VHs is when hiking up Mt. Everest.

That was explained in my post - it's relevance stems from its being included in this list. Everything in this list is made immediately relevant by its mere being on a list of 'the most irrelevant things to take on a camping trip up Mt Everest". Even if you (or whoever posted it) had not posted that as a suggestion but merely taken it (or any other suggestion) along on a camping trip to Mt Everest, then it still would have become instantly relevant through the mere action of deciding to take it with you!

Deciding to take something with you does not make it relevant.

rel‧e‧vant  /ˈrɛləvənt/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[rel-uh-vuhnt] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–adjective
bearing upon or connected with the matter in hand; pertinent

The matter at hand being Mt. Everest and the hike you are doing on Mt. Everest, nothing on this list should be connected to it. Connected to meaning it bears some purpose or reason of bringing.

If you brought something BECAUSE it was on this specific list, then obviously you brought it for that reason, but no reason pertaining to the hike on Mt. Everest.

Furthermore, the list being compiled is a list of the most irrelevant things a person could bring on a trip to Mt. Everest. This is assuming that they had never read this list before (most people that have climbed Mt. Everest probably haven't...). This list is creating a hypotetical situation in which a person brings a multitude of useless items. That person is now deciding which is the most useless out of them all.

The person deciding the most useless is the thread creator, the list is being compiled by the thread contributors.

Everything being posted has no relevance to the hypothetical trip that was created for this situation.

Not only did that not make sense, it didn't have any relevance to what I said. This proves once again that I am the only person that is ever right.

I question all of my professors on a regular basis about what they are teaching and how they are teaching it. Don't be me.
