Hi all recently been losing connection after 3mins of gameplay anyone else getting the same
I tried to log in to the game earlier today but couldn't get in at all, now like you I'm disconnected every few minutes. I've rebooted, shut down all other programs (firewalls, virus guards etc) but am still getting kicked out of games. It is unplayable like this

Its extremely frustrating and I don´t know why but I´ve still been trying to play a decent round for the past 2 hours...and it just isnt working. All disconnects also count as deaths so there goes the hope of building a good k-d ratio early on /for those who care about this)

It'll be because everyone who now owns BF2142 on the planet is trying to set up servers.

But it seems that a lot of people who preordered it, still don't have it.. So you're not alone..

+ it doesn't matter, 'cause I'm (also) always getting the: "Connection to EA Master Server was lost" - message..
Does anyone speak English in these forums? I've read all the replies and still don't really know why there are connection problems other than a general idea that either EA are doing something or that there are too many players.

There PROBABLY are connection problems because most servers are or have already gone towards severing the full game..
And EA won't put any effort into solving this since they also are busy with the fact that it 's the release of the full version of the game..

Too many people trying to log in at the same time? I dunno.
I see only one, or sometimes 2 servers (EA Black OPs Europe and USA) and they seem to reset the severs a lot (lots of Verdun being played)
I did notice there was a patch 1.01 at fileplanet though...

Got home from work hoping to put in some more practice and cant even get through a round! :-(
I just got my Full Version pre-ordered next-day shipping from GameStop and am getting the same crappy 3min disconnects.
Took me 5 tries to reassign my keys
Only 2 servers online, anyhow.. both EA
You aren't missing much if you don't have it yet.
Not to mention I logged in using my demo account and now it won't let me use my pre-order account.. "you CD key has already been assigned to a different account"
So much for my BF2 Veteran status and 2 unlocks.. frickin EA up the butt once again.

It's pretty simple. Everyone who pre-ordered got one extra day on the demo. Everyone else gets one extra day of the retail game. It doesn't matter, really since most people can't stay connected. My real question is, what about the people that are staying connected?Eugefunk84 wrote:
