Maps that are Left to ROT?

Why is it AF all together, and BF2 maps like FuShe Pass, and Zatar Wetlands are left to rot in the dust? No one EVER players these maps, or AF. I just got off an AF server, and forgot how fun these maps are. And earlier I was on FuShe. That map is allot of fun in a chopper.

Its always Strike at Karkand, Dragon Valley, Gulf of Oman or maby Wake. I'd probably play AF more than regular BF2 but there are NO ranked servers left...

I think its about time they gave AF/EF away for free, thatll boost the numbers. You might think people who paid full price for them would be unhappy but if its now dead then at least they will get servers with people on again to be able to use their packs they paid for.

ok I wont hold my breath waiting..perhaps do a special deal, both for £2 ($4) or something?

dont count on EA giving anything BF2 related away cheaper or even for free any time soon. They dont wanna draw attension away from their new super BF2 - return of the connection loss - 2142.

Road Rage and Midnight Sun are fun if you manage to get a chopper or a bomber, but can be really frustrating on the ground, even in a tank. Harvest is ok.

Maps like Fushe or Zatar suck because every fucking one leaves and you end playing 8vs8, driving around capping flags with no enemies to fight. But it's not the maps' fault...both are awesome with 40-50 players.

I wish there was more AF servers, there is a few ranked ones left. I love all the maps but every server is full of asshats who tk for pretty much any vehicle. Then if u get it, they do everything they possably can to shoot u down. It's got fucking pathetic, yea there is a couple good ones but there usually full. i wish there were more servers with REAL players on it. Fushe is a good map, i can always find a good server running it. Yes chopper whoring is fun there. Never play Zatar, dunno why either.

Haven't touched Karkalaland in probly 3 months +, it will soon be out of my top 5. It was 4th, it's now 5th, soon to be beat out by Iron Gator. Been playing Dragon Valley, Dalian Plant, and SF alot lately also.

This is the primary reason I didn't get AF or EF, because I knew not many people would buy them. That being said, there's a considerable drop in BF2/SF servers now that 2142 is out, damnit. I'll be damned if I buy 2142 just for them to release 3142 and kill that playerbase.

I paid for both and have to agree with you 100%. Give it away for free or extremely cheap. I am sick of having trouble finding a server in my neck of the woods. It would be great if more people were introduced to it.

Yes the [UTAC] 24/7 Armored Fury and Euro Force server is the answer to all your prayers. Its 64 player and stays pretty damn packed all the time. +1 for the guy who mentioned this before me and gave you the IP too.

Come visit the Response server. We run the original EA US Official rotation. ALL Vanilla maps in the original order with Jalalabad as the last map. No stupid uncap rules and no smacktardation. The way it should be. Its also a fairly populated server...especially after 5pm when we all get off work. Come check us out.

It's cause there is only one attack heli per team. OR 2 jet's per team, and I dunno how much armour, the point is, unless you are in one of these vehicle's it is not 'fun' infantry on a map like that is shit. Beside's even if a good fight does start, it's not long before the heli's start camping point's or jet's blow the crap out of it.

Ergo 'it aint fun for most of the people on' which is why there in the city of karkand!
