I searched for this, but failed to find anything on this specifically. Since 1.4, when I am a medic, and see that someones health bar is low (even for people hit by sniper rifles) I will toss them a medic pack and they pick it up, but I never get the message saying "You got a heal point". It seems not to reflect in my stats either, and I dont get points for it in the game. Does anyone have an idea what the deal is? Does anyone else have this problem?
heal points have always been hard
You need to heal full circle aka you heal some guy who has 2 bars left and you heal some other guy who has 2 bars missing.
I see, so the heal has to be 100% of health, not say 75% or even 90% of their health, but a full 100% split between however many people it takes to get that 100%?
actua no u dont have to. it is supposed to be 1 point every time someone picks your medipack,,,Hellogoodsir wrote:

Well, I did something I should have done first, look on UBAR. Here is what it says
"When friendly soldier’s health drops below 50% a bar will appear above there name in the 3d map indicated how much health they have remaining, and in the mini-map, friendlies with low health have a red glow around their icon. You will receive a point if you heal these guys up to full health. "
So my take isif they are below 50% health, you will get a point for the heal.

The wiki says
I don't know why the UBAR says something different. (Someone ought to change whichever one is wrong.) In the wiki vs. UBAR conflict I have to go with the wiki. I haven't played Medic very much but the wiki's version been consistent with my experience in the game.Heal = 1 100% cycle system
dude, its wikipedia, its probably wrong. People can easily make up stuff and throw it on wiki.
"you know life is what we make it, and a chance is like a picture, it'd be nice if you just take it"
I agree about Wikipedia, but this is the bf2s.com wiki: http://wiki.bf2s.com/stats/scoring-system.d4rkst4r wrote:

What could be more reliable than bf2s.com?
This has been covered.
Its really simple like san4 said its 100% health bar. So if you heal 2 people with 50% health or less oull get 1 point. Heal 4 people with 75% health you get one point..

It used to be if you healed someone below 50%, you got a heal point, hence it was so easy to get the points. Now, it does in fact does take a full 100% worth of healing, the indicator still shows up after they lose 50% or more.
