What sensitivity level do u use when you are playing sniper? What type of mouse do u use? And finally, what type of mouse do u think is the best for sniping ? (EXPLAIN PLEASE)
Any mouse that you can click with is good for sniping as that is all you are doing. Mouse sensitivity really doesn't come into play while sniping. Just good aim and a little common sense.
Well, I recently switched to a g5 mouse. I used to use a razer viper. To be honest, it was more of a psychological thing that improved my sniping. But, to answer. I use 800 dpi if its hyper long range shots, and 2000 dpi for all other occasions. I know this is super fast for a sniper, but I guess I have a steady hand (artist.) Hope it helps.
i really need a G5 mouse....but its kinda expensive and i dunno whether to upgrade my graphics card and RAM or buy a G5...
for sniping I use 800 dpi
for infantry 1000 dpi
tank-whoring 1800 dpi
I love my G5

Razer Copperhead ftw!
650 dpi for everything
Standard mouse ftw
Mx518, 400 DPI, best mouse is a mouse that can move the cursor and on which the left mouse button can be usedZolow wrote:

For normal infantry = 850 dpi
helis and jets = 1000 dpi.
tanks = 1250 dpi
sniping = i throw my mouse in the bin.

i just use a regular ole mouse..... it would be kinda nice though to be able to change the sensitivity on the fly
1050 DPI for inf/sniping
2000 DPI for choppers/jets

I tried doing senstivity changing for different stuff, but it got kind of annoying as you forget which one you're on and move too fast or whatever, so i just leave it on a kind of general med/high setting now.
1600 for everything
I recently bought a G5 and think it is great. It took a little while to get used to after my last mouse but now I have it just about mastered. The middle (scroll) button is tricky and requires some practice.
400dpi and with all the 4.5g weights added for stability seems to work for me as a sniper. It is great to be able to adjust it on the fly when you jump in a tank or AA.

G5 at 400, no weights.Zolow wrote:

I used to use a Microsoft optical mouse; this was absolutely fine IMO. The entire of one account's sniping was accomplished with it and it has an accuracy for the sniper rifle of 52.32% and I earned both Expert Sniper Combat and Expert Sniper Specialist (with only Basic Explosives Ordinance so no OTT claymore spamming). I also have two practice accounts with accuracies above 60% made before the G5.Zolow wrote:

So for all practical purposes I think that once you pass a certain standard any mouse will do as long as you like the way it feels in your hand and the buttons work well.
Additional buttons/actions for quick switching to the pistol and knife are an advantage, but not essential. Now that I'm used to it I never change the sensitivity on the G5, I use the game's sensitivity changes to adjust for vehicles; this frees up two extra buttons to map if you wanted.
What utter tosh. Try sniping at targets over 100m using a G5 @ 2,500 with the game's sensitivity set at 1.killer21 wrote:

Buy an optical then.jkohlc wrote:

More RAM can mean a huge improvement in the speed the game loads and in the reduction of laggy time immediately after you spawn (like from 5-10 seconds to only 1 or 2). I couldn't get over how much of a difference there was when I went from 1 to 2 gigs.jkohlc wrote:

A better graphics card could make a massive difference; potentially you could play at current settings with a higher resolution and still get a higher framerate.
A 50$ mouse is expensive, but a graphics card and RAM is not?jkohlc wrote:

What he said, but I switch it right up to 1600 for armour.RDMC(2) wrote:

If $45 is expensive, you must be from Kenya. And tell me where can I upgrade graphics and ram for $45 .jkohlc wrote:

It's not about mouse sensitivity for me...it's about being cordless and laser. That way, i can whip a full 360 SO much easier than i can on a cord, and the laser keeps me pin point accurate where as a track ball is a real track bitch.
right..the G5 mouse in singapore costs S$99
but the regular 2x512mb cost about S$150++ depending on the brand
