personally i think its awesome,

its really fun and challenging, lots to do in it and the guns arnt onesided, the maps are good. and suprisingly i didnt have any disconnections, which was a suprise.

One thing that i thought was good is the Squad leader beamer thingy, thats let ppl spawn on it.

and for those people complaining about no jets, well get used to it, theres so much more to do in this game that u dont notice it.

also another thing i noticed was the loading times. its incredibly fast.

What do u guys reckon?

i have only played the demo havent got round to buying it i didnt much like the demo but i think the game will be better cause the unlocks and i just think the sidi power plant map sucked, i hope the other maps r better

It's fun. I love all the new weapons/vehicals. The way the game 'feels' is just great.
What I don't like is the:
-Crashes
-Disconnects
-More Crashes
-And more Disconnects.

Personally, I will try dearly not to buy 2142 at the full 50 bucks (American... Dunno how many Euros. >.> ).

Not because I didn't enjoy the Demo, not because I'm annoyed at the disconnects, and not because I don't think I'll enjoy 2142.

Nay nay, the reason being that I would like to contribute to 2142 being a financial failure. Why would I do such a thing? Well well well, EA is betting the farm that 2142 will be a success, special pre-order offers everywhere, advertisements both in-game and out, the veterans program, everything.

They're hoping lightning will strike twice and that 2142 will be BF2's second coming.

I'd like to see if Dice could survive an EA swallowed company failure game 'cut-back'. Don't know what I'm talkin' 'bout Willis'? We all know what happened to WestWood...

Anyway, one man can't change the world, and one man can't cause a financial change. It's just my own lil' rebellion.

I like the vehicle combat, hate the infantry combat. The rifles in 2142 feel like I have a firehose in my hands...accuracy wise. I just cant figure out how in 1036 years our weapons would become less accurate. Thats all.

I was disgusted with the demo...not because of errors....but with the actual gameplay. I don't like the server browser...I don't like the fact that my FPS is terrible, as compared to BF2...I don't like the guns...I don't like the theme of it...I don't like the futuristic warfare....

It just seems quite lame. All it is is an overpriced expansion pack.

Oh, and let me point out the fact that they already avhe a patch out for it.
I'm sticking with BF2. BFW rocks.

If you found the PAC assault rifle inaccurate you really, really must have difficulty aiming. Same goes with the LMGs... The slowed movement has annoyed me somewhat but I've learned to deal with it. I don't rush into a flag like rambo now, I scout it out for a bit first.

I'm in the midst of downloading it now. The demo was pretty cool. I had the feeling that I was actually there wondering what became of the world. Demo was smooth. Hopefully the downlaod will be the same.

2142 takes away from why i play bf2 MODER COMBAT,all though i will buy the game because all of my bf2 buddies are,i just like the modern combat theme,
