Last night on an IO Warlord map d.freeman single-handedly mowed down my team. 3 consecutive headshots from him wasn't uncommon. A few of us were wondering if he was hacking. Of course I have no way to prove this, but he said he was a "killing machine". At one point I think he had about 70+ kills to 30+ deaths.

Well, I looked at his stats and he's definitely NOT a killing machine. He was also a quite dishonorable player bunny hopping half the time. Unless we flanked him he was impossible to kill. So the guy I played against last night is either NOT the same person using the account or he had some "help".

Just wanted to set that straight for the record.

And, oh, freeman, I'm a major - not a colonel. I have over 30,000 points to go before that. So get your ranks straight.

And flame away - I'm just wondering if anyone else has run into this guy.

Going 70 and 30 isn't that impressive. I mean yeah its a lot of kills, but its not an impressive ratio like 3:1 or 4:1+.

Doesn't look like much of a "h4x0r" account to me. As was said above 70/30 is not that impressive; was it a high points server (<32 on a 64 map)??

I agree, he wasn't invincible, but the way he was able single-handedly rape us at times - well, it was the weirdest thing I've seen in BF2 with an opposing player. Definitely seemed not right. And my point is his global stats seem to confirm that something was up.

Yeah...I attach much nostalgia to my gaming. "URE DED" is a very old nick for me from games long past and I ain't ever changin' it!

That was on the RECRK server last night. I was on when this happened. Luckily I was on the same team as freeman, haha. I think he finished with over 100 kills and around 50-60 deaths. He was using the G3 the entire round as well. We run 64 size maps with only 16 players so everyone should have nice scores by the end of the round. He was racking up many kills all at once quite often, but I just figured he was a good player. I know I've been able to take down a group of 5 without dying and I've seen many other people do that too so it is possible. Oh and I don't mean lobbing a nade to take them out either, I mean shooting them with a gun. Luckily for you URE_DED, you missed this one guy that came on last night. I can't remember his account, if it comes back to me I'll post it here. I checked his stats last night, his score per minute is over 5, his kill death ratio is over 5. His accuracy with assault rifles was almost 40 percent. If I remember correctly he had well over 5k kills and just over 1k deaths. His highest kill streak was in the 70s and highest death streak only 6. His stats showed he was a ground pounder too the majority of the time so he isn't a plane/armor/heli whore. He joined the round when I had around 90 points and the tickets were more then half drained. When the round ended he scored 30 points higher then me, went something like 60-5. He was really pissing everyone off, lol. Oh well, it was still fun.

Well I think 70 k / 30 d is impressive, but I'm still pretty "new" to BF2. However, we can agree that it's definitely not uncommon or "unreachable" by any means.

Roger that. It's good but not "WTF no way!" good.

I played a game with Rogu3_granny where he went 98-37 and he wasn't even playing medic (AT entire round I'm pretty sure). But he was in a strong squad with a dedicated medic or two on hand.

Actually I do think that's true. If you get a player with bleh stats, for accuracy and KDR, and in a single round he gets more than one person again and again with in really unlikely ways (particularly headshots from things other than sniper rifles, at range) there's a better-than-average chance he's being aided somehow.

Take this guy for example: http://bf2s.com/player/45237749/ Clearly average/below-average stats for all the major food groups, right? And in a game last night a number of people complained about dodgy shots (myself included) and he made a joke about MSX and left before the mods could take a vid.

Incidentally they banned two other guys the same game for hacking, so it's 100% sure that hacks that don't return clean PB screenshots can make it past PB itself.

I was on the same server andi have mr freeman to thank for my purple heart...bleh..my fault that one. However, when 3-5 squadmates run up on the same guy time and time again and he kills them all with one shot time and time again (not bad players or noobs, high ranking guys with good stats, better than his actually) there is usually something fishy going on. I will point out that after someone asked if he was cheating, suddenly, he was not Rambo anymore. He was still decent, however but not as before. I was killed by him with one hit kils with multiple guns and kits. Sorry, i know everyone has their moments and there are extrememly good players, however, when it happens constantly and it's always the same guy.....smells like a fish, looks like a fish, most likely is not a chocolate bar.
