Maybe someone with a better understanding can help me with this.

Why is it the only thing I can unlock for my next unlock is the extra ammo for the side arm?

This is the same for all the kits the extra clip is the only yellow.

Well the clip icon is not showing next in the tree. Do you see it in those SS's?

Yes, we do see them. And yes, it is next in the line-up. I'm failing to understand the problem...

EDIT: Oh wait, are you asking why it's yellow? It's because you have an available unlock and that is next in line. You have not unlocked it yet.

EDIT 2: Sorry for the edits, but you can unlock other stuff than just the squad leader and player ability unlocks you know. There are tabs at the top to change which kit you want to unlock upgrades to.

just making sure.. that is the only unlock I can select in any kit.

Left side are kit unlocks, reight side are common unlock or squad leader unlocks.

FYI it's a bug in the game.. I had "field unlocks" that I aquired the round before and when I went to pick my unlocks it thought I already had theings like the shield which I didn't. So be aware.
