I played the most depressing Warlord game last night. I had the round of my life, finished 19-1 (1 death was a TK :) ) and 40 team points for a total of 78, my 2nd highest round ever. Not that great, but good for me :)
Anyways, my team was downright pathetic, and it was not like the other team was that great. I'd cap flag after flag only to have them recapped the moment I was at the next one. Lost the round 0-140.
On my team were three guys running the same clan tag, some 3 letter acronym starting with 'n', and 2 of them managed to grab the purple heart at 5-21 and 5-22 respectively, and the 3rd guy went 0-14. I wish I would've taken the screenshot of the final scorecard.
Moral of the story: You can get the gold medal by 30 pts, and be 50 pts higher than anyone else on your team, but a one man team cannot and will not win you games.
Anybody else ever had that feeling of pure helplessness?
