Where´s my english version ?! :(

Ok, sounds kinda weird :

So I bought the game today (in Germany) and during the installation process I was asked which language I want to install the game. So I looked for the English version, because I all ready had it in BF2 and I´m used to it.

BUT : No English version ! Everything from Chinese to Arabic to Chinese. No English.

So a question to you "geeks" out there : How do I change the in game language settings ? I tried to exchange the localization files from my demo (which installed in English) to the actual game files. Didn´t work.

Any other ideas ?

Ok, ready for another EA fuckup ?

The reason why i couldn´t find the english installation option is, because they labeled it with the word "german"
And further down they had the option for german labeled with the word "deutsch"

AAAARRGGGGHHH !!! EA !!!

Erm... I bought the german version, BUT I want english language in my game and it´s not avaiable during the installation process... Got it ?

not sure, maybe find a crack version online and swipe the localization files out of that, or get someone on here with an english version to send you the files.

Like I said, tried something like that allready, copied the loc. files from my demo (which was possible to install in english) to the actual game.
Didn´t work. Still german.
And the actual game loc. files have english in there. I just couldn´t choose it when I installed.

i understand about the demo, just saying maybe install a pirated version, just use your cd key instead.

I had / have the same problem. But I dont remember if I choose German or Deutsch. At the moment I have english voices but the written stuff is german.
Do I have to re-install the game or can I just change the loc file?

Yeah, I´m afraid you have to do a reinstall and than choose "german" as your installation and in
game language.
