Had a system crash, and now when i attempt to join a server i get the message:

INVALID CD KEY

i guess this means the EA master server believes the key is in use elsewhere?

anyone had similar trouble?

I bought the game through EA Downloader and every time I try to join a server it says "Invalid Cd Key" (The EA Downloader version doesn't give you a key, it uses ur EA Downloader account to verify its authenticity)
I have done everything possible to fix this and i am probably going to have to cancel that payment and actually buy a hard copy.

deinstall > reinstall
voila....fixed

Sorry but reinstalling didn't fix anything. Another thing to add is, just like BF: Special Forces, whenever i install the game it gives me "Bf2CdKeyCheck.exe has encountered a problem and must ...." The patch doesn't help either.

reinstall worked perfectly fine for me
had the cdkey twice, both times reinstalling worked

@Dalian More: you should try reinstalling
