BF2S Forums Where is my veteran!

same problem, the account is weird, veteran programs fucked up man... but TBH you dont really need it... its 40 points, cmon get your ass out of ureself and starting blowing HEADS OFF!

I tried logging in with my reserved name but it wouldnt log in so I just used InfectiousShad

I too was frustraited and it seems like some people were having problems even after doing it correctly.

However, there's been a change in the way you log in.. now its like Madden games for PS2... you first log in with your "EA username" and then you can choose from your registered veteran name....

Also I think they're still allowing people to register as veterans, so if you log in and found your space blank... it might be worth your time to exit the game and go register your name again...

Did you use your veteran name in the demo?

You login with your EA account (the one you use for your veteran status for those who have more then one). You can even check what is yours if you forgot it on EA web site.

Once you logged in, every player profile you create will get the "auto promotion". You don't have to use the name you created when you recorded your veteran status.

For BF2 you BF2 account name IS your EA account name that's what some people don't get.

1. Log in with your EA account name (may be different than you ingame, mine is)
2. If there are not soldiers created and the screen is empty, put in the name of the ingame you registered under vet status.  It should congratulate you and give you a chance to pick unlocks.

That is what I did and it worked.  I don't know if it helps, but hope you can get it working.  Honestly the free unlock didn't help me that much.  The shotty attachment is cool, but I've gotten more kills with the assault rifle.

I'm having the same issue.  I have logged in with my EA member name, and I do not have the nick that I registered with the veteran program.  Any solutions?

I don't think you can un-bind it. The entire point of the log-in/registration system is so that you can't then sell the game disc or your account.

I recently was in contact with EA's tech support guys via phone.  They got all my information and said they'd e-mail me back with a fix within 24 hours.  I'll let everyone know what the so-called fix is.
