Well i know Bf2 is Voip supported though i dont know how to use it. Do you have to turn it on because when i play i never hear anyone talk.
you have to be in a squad to hear people talk....

Yeah but even when im in a squad, i dont hear any of my members talk.
you could just be playing with the wrong people. seriously though, this has come up a couple of times in what used to be 'bf2 help' section. if you haven't already, do a search for 'voip problems' - you will definitely turn up a couple of things to try.
i seem to rememeber i had voip problems myself, which didn't go away until i stopped using onboard sound and got myself a decent soundcard.

could it be that they just arent talking? not everyone uses it
It could also be that servers do not have VoIP enabled. I know my clan does not run it on their server, because when we do it the server lags a lot.
