I only have the demo, so I guess anyone who tries this with the full game should go to the Gulf of Oman map.

try using the Blackhawk, with three snipers, an engineer, and a support guy (and an SF guy as the pilot). put the snipers in the passenger seats. put the support and engineer guy in the turrets. now, on the 32 player map, there is a Hotel with a pool, and its very high. fly toward it, and try to let a sniper land on it. go to the crane, and let another sniper land on it. let the remaining sniper jump between the two rear most seats. now, you have strategically done three things:
1. you have made yourself a mobile gunship/sharpshooter platform.
2. you have placed two snipers in a good place.
3. you have two extra seats to use when you find people in trouble.

there is also another thing you can do if you are MEC.

take the gunship with two people. take the two seated fighter, and put two people in it. take the jeep, and put three people in it. make them the people best suited to assault the carrier because that is what you are doing. have the people in the jeep go to the boat near the american outpost. you'll have to take this place over, so have the fighter and chopper hang back, while another team with the tank and APC assault the outpost for you. now, put as many people in the boat that you can fit. (driver, 4 passengers, a gunner). have the fighter bomber destroy the anti-invasion gun that is on one side. it has heat seeking abilities, and it can tear a plane apart quickly; that means that you will have to be quick, and evasive. the chopper will have to be careful, because it will likely draw unwanted attention. when the turret is taken out, eliminate anyone in the boat bay. this should make it safe to offload the boat and make your way into the boat and onto the deck. by now, the chopper should be attacking the deck, and the fighter should be dealing with any rallying enemy air units do. when you get to the ladders, your airsupport should know it. make sure that by this time, you have done enough to keep someone from ladder killing you as you climb helplessly away from weapons.
while up here, you should hit the trailers, and manage to steal the blackhawk when it respawns. make sure you never let the anti-you weapon respawn, or it can be used to destroy you. leave some people there in a hidden location to report any movements.

one detail to realize, is that while you are assaulting the carrier, they will not be afraid to hit you with arty. destroy it before you make your move. 2 C4's will work.

any questions or Idea's?

I hadnt heard about BF2 until recently. the demo is on some computers in my classroom here at the college, and I am saving up to get the full game with the SF Demo. I was just trying to share what Online players wouldnt think about. if you have, thats great. I was just wanting to see if people shared ideas. didnt think it would get people glaring at me accrossed the globe.

Let me fix that for the real world...

1. you have made yourself an easy target for enemy chopper/jet to get lots of kills
2. you have just sent 2 snipers to their deaths
3 you have given the enemy chopper gunner 2 less kills with the tv missle
4. everyone else has bailed to go get points because the blackhawk guns got nerfed and can't kill shit anymore.

I guess only #3 would be helpful.

look at it this way, if ever you decided to do an acting thing with Fraps, this would be a good script. (almost).

ROFL, oh this is too good.

Anyway, just the other day me and a few friends decided to try to blackhawk whore just for old times sake. Turns out it's actually a lot of fun rofl. Nevermind the fact that if your gunners get 3 kills all round you're extremely lucky, but it's still pretty fun to fly the transport choppers on that map as support and have everyone just rain down grenade and AT mine death all over the map. And engineers still repair just as well so you can manage to keep the chopper up the whole round if you're a decent pilot.

I'd recommend trying it on Mashtuur if you want a throwback experience. You do need a nearly full crew for it to really be fun, and dont expect to be the tide turner that you would have been pre 1.2, but it's still useful for fast capping flags. Plus Mashtuur has extremely limited AA at the gas stations, and no attack choppers so really the .50 cals are your biggest threat and are easy enough to elevate away from.

About this topic.....Do you believe that nothing has changed through patches since the demo came out like a year and a half ago?? ROFL.
