Hey guys

I bought 2142 today, have played about an hour and am a "Gunner Gold" (awesome rank names btw). However,  everynow and then it will hang and I can't alt-tab, ctrl-alt-delete, alt-f4 etc. Eventually it goes to a blue screen of death and tells me that some file (had nv4 in it possibly - video drivers?) is stuck in an infinite loop or something along those lines.

Specs:

MSI K8N-Neo4
6600GT
AMD x2 3800+

Any help would be appreciated (I would give you karma if I could )

Bf2142 isint fully done yet, just let the patches come and fix these bugs. I my self have a 6600 on my computer [in repairs atm] and I can barly run everything on Low on BF2142 and on BF2 I go Med and high with settings there. It needs fixing.
Like i said give it time or buy a new Graphic card.

Yeah this forum is now just a ranting place for those people who can't own in a tank now or never really tested it. But that does sound like a overheat problem.

If you have nothing constructive to say, don't say anything

I'm sure that by now everyone on the forum is well aware of your opinion towards BF2142.  You do not need to repeat it over and over again.  And so what if there's lots of threads about it?  How is that any different from all of the "reset this person for stat-padding", "this person got reset for stat-padding",  "nerf this", "don't nerf this", "jet whores" etc threads?

Just ignore the repeat threads if they annoy you so much (especially if they relate to a game you hate).  And before you say you can't ignore them, either read the thread title (which usually gives enough info to have a vague idea of the thread topic) or read the firstpost to see what the thread is about and stop there if it's a duplicate.

Meanwhile, the rest of us who actually give a damn about someone other than themselves can offer the help that is requested.
