I have probably had 1 forgive when some stupid dikhead runs over my APM in BF2 & now 2142

I asked this tard last night "why you punish me"

The tard replied "Coz you blew me up"

I never blew the cunt up, he blew himself up not looking at his hud, stupid fucking noobs.

I agreed with the limit of 2 live APMs, but to then make it a teamkiller device once again is just utterly bewildering. Surely DICE must know that the vast majority of players Punish for their own stupidity.

I never bothered laying mines in BF2 until they gave the server option to turn off FF for mines. It was fucking pointless, coz 9 times out of 10 the stupid noob fucker who drove straight over your line of mines would punish. And I know i wasn't alone as most of the maps were a mine free zone until they allowed FF off for them.

So if it is a server option then please Mr Server Admins turn off the GODDAMN FF for APMs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Some people punnish for the most retarded thing in the game. for example.

You spawn on the enemy titans in a transport chopper and somehow another guys close to you DIE and it's automatically your fault, the guy don't even concidering to even hit the FORGIVE buttom but instant spammed Punnish.

I on the other hand forgive most people. Unless they actually kill me with a tank or something else.

I wouldn't agree with it, but at least I would not have that feeling of being punished purely to reduce my stat points, which is the main reason I think these small minded spiteful fuckers punish.

Oh please, most noobs don't even THINK of awoiding them. Even if those mines are in the middle of no where, they STILL find friendly targets to kill. You could throw them at the enemies choke points but within seconds your friends magically appears infront of the mine.

And noobs ALWAYS punnish for tks to among with like 95% of all the other people EVEN if it's THEIR fault to start with it.

someone in my old clan said something about claymores, "If an enemy doesn't trigger a claymore within 30 seconds you are almost guaranteed a teammate will find it and kill themselves, and you'll get a punish"

don't bother using claymores and mines until EA allows you to turn mine FF off, unless you are putting them directly in front of an enemy, like if one's coming around a corner

PUNISHING DOES NOT REDUCE YOUR SCORE! You get negative points for a team kill regardless if the person punishes or not. Punishes are ONLY used for auto-kick purposes.

Yes, but they put these tools in the game to be used, but if they keep FF On, then we aren't playing the game as intended.

I mostly play Engineer or Sniper, so naturally they play a significant role in my tactics. I have fended off a whole squad before with claymores in BF2 by using my own 2, then grabbing a dead snipers kit and using his aswell as sniping, knife and pistol too.

An Engineer with mines can hold out at a flag fending off heavy armour & infantry until backup arrives.

But I guess the average 16 year old kid don't give a shit about that, never even crosses his mind, just kill, punish, pick nose, jerk off to porn, bully some poor kid at school etc

We only get 2 APMs that the game allows to be active (well that's how it was in BF2, not 100% sure in 2142)
so we can hardly run around the map spamming loads of APMs everywhere, can we?

I'm sure in BF2 i would end up with a -8 if I got a punish, at least when it first came out.

That is so true, but I will still use my claymores at the top of ladders or if I'm being chased.

The 'being chased APM technique' never fails!!!

Experienced APM users will know what I am talking about, you know, when your being hunted down by a rambo type, he's on your back, you can hear his wild shots flying past your head as you turn the corner. Then turn, lay APM, turn again and run and wait ... BOOM - say hello to my little sniper surprise, LOL

On top of ladders is the best spot to put them if you're not being actively chased yeah, in that case... you're more likely to die than have some nub blow it up. It still happens from time to time though, those nubs are pretty darned clever
