I had this problem after the second day of playing. After playing in a sever from anywhere between ten seconds and a minute Punkbuster would boot me. After trying a few things I found the solution.
After seeing it being a problem with a few people on here I thought I'd share the solution.
It's as simple as updating your Punkbuster files for BF2142, Just download this program and then under "Add a game" Select Battlefield 2142 then select it and select "Update"
Easy as that you should be able to play your game interuption free. Hope I could help a few people.
