We are proud to announce the development of a new game to the Battlefield franchise! It's called Battlefield 1842: Prelude to the Mexican-American War. Experience the historical military conflict fought between the United States and Mexico in the years 1846 to 1848, in the wake of the U.S. annexation of Texas in 1845 firsthand! Mexico had always refused to recognize the loss of Texas in 1836 and announced its intention to take back what it considered a rebel province. So take up arms and fulfill our God-given right of manifest destiny. Pre-orders begin this spring!
