I was a Corporal Gold, then i got the 750 needed for Lance Corporal Silver. I actually got like 850, well over the 750 quota, but i have still yet to rank rank up. Any ideas?

The official line from EA is that the stats servers are "overloaded" when and how they're going to fix this has not been stated, though I wouldn't worry. A massive amount of people are having these problems (including myself) and they'll fix it, still, rather disappointing.
i have this trouble too .. need 1050 points and i have more than 1400.. well i dont wonder.. over1.5 mil. ppl playd the demo .. and i guess the same play the full game.. and on a wekeend where all people are online and have mutch time to play.. think what a capacity is needet to handle that
The same shit happens in BF2 on the weekend... just multiply it by 10. Your stats/unlocks/ranks ARE technically there, they're just lagged behind your actual score because of overload. I can't even count how many badges/unlocks/ranks, etc. that I've gotten and only about six have shown up. It's annoying but shit, all in all, it's just a game. Who cares about stats. And for the record... 2142 sucks. The concept and game setup are what BF2 SHOULD have been, but the futuristic bullshit and oversized maps are pathetic.
I love the small city maps, infantry is what i like!

Don't know if it will work for you...but I've just been logging out of EA then closing the game out -- then log back in while praying to <insert your favorite religious idol>. 9/10 it works!
Seriously -- Logging out of the EA servers instead of just closing the game out when your done has seemed to solve the issue for me. Way I noticed is I'm getting all of my pins -- which I wasn't before.
