Hey guys, i installed the demo and went to the video options tab, but cant seem to find the resolution of 1280x1024, all i see is 1280x960, bf2142 doesnt support 1280x1024?!?!!?

hmm, i play at that resolution. make sure that your video card and monitor support the resolution first, because there shoould be no reason that it doesnt show it. its a standard resolution. if your despereate add szx1280 szy1024 to the shortcut.
ah, im having the same problem
so i would just copy and paste szx1280 szy1024 into the short cut and i will be able to play at that res?

same problem w/ me also, 1280x960 looks like SHAIT
im playing at the standard resolution, i dont even know wath it will do or change if i put a higher resolution... so yea

Go to your 2142 shortcut on your desktop, right click and select properties.
From there you'll see a long string of text in the "Target" box, go to the end of the text and paste this
+szx 1280 +szy 1024
make sure there is a space between each value, that should work hopefully.

I really don't get why resolution support for modern games seems to end at 1280 x 960, I don't know of a single monitor that has that as it's native resolution...

ahh finally - thx! cant understand though why a 2006 game wont support this resolution, which should be pretty common for almost all 17"/19" TFTs
I have the same issue. My monitor and card support it and I play bf2 in it, but 2142 does not see it. I have to because its my panel native res.
You can change it in the video.con. Open it in notepad and you will the res. Passing the params in the exe did not seem to work.
