I have searched for this, but finding no other post, I'd thought I'd bring it to your attention.  I just finished playing on a titan mode map, and was toward the end, attacking the enemy titan core.  Now I had already earned my titan destruction award basic, but when I got my veteran something unusual happened. 

I was promoted immediately, and I thought I might share this with you, because the Veteran Titan Destruction badge confers an extra 500 points in bonus to you.  I didn't have time to take a screen shot at the end, but by the achievements column there is was in big numbers, 500 points. 

I'm not sure if any of the other veteran badges confer such points to the player, but I'd thought I'd share it with you if you wanted to rank up and get that next unlock you've been pining for.

Every Basic badge gives 20 or 40 points depending on the difficultly

all Veteran Badges (I just got vet knife today) give 500 points

and all Expert Badges give 1000 points

Pins give between 5-20 points

Ribbons give between 10-2000 point (10 points for Halo Ribbon, compared to 2000 for valorous unit and war college.)

is that bagde given for the ammount if those thingys on the hallway u destroy or the titan itself?

You have to destroy 10 consoles global, and then one core in a round to get it.  Took me a while, but I just waited until the core was at nothing and fired my carbine at it.

Basic: Destroy 2 Consoles IAR

Vet: Destroy 1 Titan Core IAR

GLOBAL: Destroy 10 Consoles


Expert: I'm not sure, I think its

Destroy 1 Titan Core IAR
Destroy 4 Consoles IAR

and some global achievement.

yeah, as posted, awards gives you points. hell, I got a promotion for diving off the titan, earning the HALO ribbon. odd...

For Expert its 3 Titan Consoles Destroyed in a round and 1 titan core, with 40 titan consoles global.

Badges are a great way to rank up. Go for the ones that are easiest for you. As stated, basics are 20-40 career points, veteran ones are 500, and expert ones are 1000. 1520 total!

There's always this extremely easy way to get points: camp in an AA turret near the enemy titan. Kill the ATG turrets on the bottom, waiting about 15 seconds between each one. Do this until you kill 8 turrets (I am implying that someone is repairing them). It will give you 2 Titan Destructor pins.  Add your titan attack points, and you get 56 points in about 2 minutes! Can only be done once/game, though, as you can only get 2 Titan Destructor badges per round.

Every 7 kills while defending the titan gets you 34 points. If a round last abit longer you can get 5 or more of them. Not to mention accasional 5 or 10 kills in a row

OP hit the nail on the head. The key to quick unlocks is banging away at tough awards. I got resupply silver, easy as hell to get, basically 10 hours as support and 10 resupplies IAR. 500 points, almost instantly took me from Sergeant Silver to Sergeant Gold. And since Support Service Silver isn't that far off, it's only a matter of time.

I only say be happy if you have the private bug because you can get the basic badges again and so the some easy points.
