thanks guys. yeah, the guy who hit me was really good about it to the cops, and admitted that it was all his fault, so there were no disputes or anything. unluckily for me though, this was at night and i had no lights on my bike, so i got a fine for the privilege of being run over!
as for pics, a friend of mine who came in the ambulance was trying to figure out how to work the little camera on my phone, but couldn't get it to work. by the time i got my stuff back, they'd cleaned me up, so there wasn't much left to see - it was mostly blood. Where i needed stitches on my mouth, the tear was worse on the inside than the outside, so it looks disproportionatly 'neat' to how much it stings, although if you look at this (blurry!) pic and imagine tha whole red area just hanging open, you'll get the idea. and you can also see how swollen that side is (three days later!) and that horrible bit of lip that's protruding into my mouth! yeah, all that was just hanging open spewing blood everywhere
