I titan assault is when you attack the titan by whatever means... infantry attacks mean being launched from APCs to the titan.
You survive one by not getting shot, and shooting other people first.

titan assault is when your team boards the enemy titan and proceeds to destroy the 4 consoles and then the core... that is the titan assault.... now you are SUPPOSED to get the tumber pin if you destroy the core then run and jump off the titan and survive buuuut i have survived the titan assault many times and no tumbler pin...
I thought they removed it anyways...?

The tumbler pin was in the beta, and you got it for taking part in the titan assault, IE being on the titan and taking some action, shooting and hitting a player, console or core, or getting a heal, revive, resupply. Then
when the hull is destroyed, getting off the titan, normally by running like a boy chased by sharky sharky off the edge of the titan.
While the tumbler pin code is still in the game as it stands it is not active, so no one has got a tumbler pin.
In later patches they may make the tumbler pins active again.

Why should they re-activate it. The only reason would be, if it was buggy in the beta. Maybe.
But I think it is just a stupid pin. It would be luck to get it. Probably it was there to get the players to fight on the titan and not just aroud the silos. But for this there is the titan defense pin. Who gives you 20! points.

The Titan Survival Pin seems to have a graphical bug with two other pins.
Notice that this pin is white and outlined behind two other pins?
It is the same shape of the removed pin but that white part is not suppose to be there...
