When I press install, the installshield wizard gets to the end, and then just clsoes.
The Beta wont uninstall either!

Have you tried removing it manually i.e... Deleting the folder and deleting it from the registry?

The beta folder has the same name as the game folder - its probably installed on top and corrupted everything.

I'm not sure, but before it removes or install, it just closes the installer/uninstaller.
Did you use EA downloader?
I have exactly the same problem but with the final DVD version.
