Oman is, and I've played Taraba Quarry, Operation Smoke Screen, and Great Wall more than Karkand.
Yep, Karkand, I like that map although I like Sharqi and Mashtuur better.

Plenty of room for sniping\pkm (isn't that the same thing?)
Plenty of room to avoid armour if so required (unlike karkand)
And Transport choppa's to get around!
What more could you want

Its not even in my Top-10, its a suckass map imo with its 150 meters max viewdistance.
its anoying that it has such a short view distance, because us snipers cant see anything.

It used to be, now it's Wake. I find the infantry action more pleasant and since the blackhawk got more armour USMC seem to be doing better overall. If not, i take the Sky Cow .50 cals to the arty island and bring the fight to them. Not the carrier though, the carrier is off limits. Arty Island = For the taking
Plus it loads very quickly and doesn't have much lag. Gulf of Oman is actually my favorite map but there isn't enough servers with it. No 24/7 ones.

Yes but im close to getting it off my fave map list. Another 10 or so hours of Iron Gator and its off for good. Closing that dark chapter of my bf2 carrer now if only FW Gauntlet had people in it constantly.

OWNS KARKAND IN THE ASS, not to mention its actually a real life place...
You can get so many more points on Wake. Even if you're on the US. I actually get more points on the US most of the time because on China I cant always get the j10 or z10. God raping the island, capping out china, and getting 110 points playing as US infantry the whole round in the process owns. Come to 24/7 Wake Krackhouse. If you're on a good team, half the time to US wins. 40 manned server on wake owns.
