I've done that once, only problem is that it says "teamkilled" not TEAMKILLED - SMOKE GRENADE......
I have one of me killing an enemy. Cbf finding it atm.

I did it the other day, we were in a squad capping the hotel flag at Karkand, and I decided to pull out my smoke grenade and chuck it at this sniper lying on the ground (my team btw). I don't think he was on one bar of health, rather I think I got him in the head, you should've seen the screen, it was filled with "Sorry chief".
The second time I decided to be smarter and chuck a flashbang at an enemy who didn't see me. I threw two at him, didn't do anything and he turned around and filled my face with lead. Yeah, did two really stupid try hardish things in one day. I deserved those 15 seconds of repose.

Once on Wake I saw a sniper close, but he saw me and ran behind a hill obviously having put down a claymore. So I chucked a grenade, and I must have hit him with it because I got a kill message and then it exploded.
