in 1936 a ruthless dictator was given the right to host the olympics, and now it has happened again the regime in Beijing has been chosen to host the 2008 olympics IT NEED TO BE STOPPED.
we cannot allow the games to be hosted in a country that has a regime as evil and corrupted as the chines government.

A little too late to try and stop them now. You needed to start this 6 years ago (or whenever Beijing first proposed hosting them). Anyway, I want to see just how many world records get broken in a highly polluted city. Will the pollution assist or be a hinderence?

I've partied in NYC, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Hong Kong, Paris, London, and Seoul, but I swear to god the single best/craziest /insane party I've ever been to in my life was in Beijing.

If you can make it to the Olympics, definitely go. You will not regret it.

If you do sign this, who will have the instructure to build and prepare for the Olympics in less then 2 years? London is hosting the Olympics in 2012 and they are already planning and preparing for it. On top of that, the Olympic committe will not throw away the money they have just to move the Olympics. If this patition came about the time they choose Beijing (about 2001) then that would be different.

and its too late to stop them... I like when the olympics come and I like watching them on tv and I wouldnt want to see the city boycotted. You dont want to let olympics be hosted by Beijing, because you think the government is evil and its not good for the population.. ok but boycotting the olympics wont be better for the civilians, which have been waiting for this moment for 8 years...

This means that the money in their economy is passing from hand to hand at a higher rate.
