The right way to login in BF2142

Ok, just got the bf2142 and now I am asking you for some help.

Can someone please tell me, what's the right way to login into bf2142 the first time as I have played BF2 and signed up into Veterans program.

Some people seem to login the wrong way and than theya don't get promotion and nnumber 2 next to their name.

When you start the game up it will ask you to login or create a new account. Don't create a new account, login using the EA account name and password you used to register for vet. You will then be taken to the soldier selection screen where your veteran registered name for BF2142 will already be available to select.

Talon: Stop reading this and look at my post; +341|7031

You also need to install the patch. MAKE SURE BF2142 IS CLOSED, NOT JUST MINIMIZED (it will minimize itself if you select "go to EA downlaoder" when you install it. Otherwise you'll have to reinstall.
