Knight, I'll try to pop in later, looks good and that's an unusual rotation. Even having Karkand in the mix doesn't put me off in no-vehicle mode.

Are you actually saying that having a high SPM is more important to you than a fun game? Strange why some people play games.
He has a pretty unrealistic expectation for SPM anyway; even using vehicles well, or going full-on as medic, striving to maintain 3 or higher is going to be quite the challenge.
But if that's what he wants to aim for that's what he wants to aim for. I just think that an SPM of 2+... which is cake for anyone halfway decent in IO, even without going medic... isn't exactly "low".

Who can snipe from the carrier to the mainland? And if we assume for a moment that this were possible how would being able to snipe to either of the two tips of the island 'pin down the PLA' from holding or capping back any of the flags further away???

PLA can rally back and win from being down to only a single spawn, I've seen it a bunch of times and I don't even play Wake that much. I've played in single IO rounds where PLA lost the airfield four, maybe five times and still won.
