anyone got any programs i can use to check the speeds of my graphics card, i dont want to overclock it just want to check it to see what they are running at as i have an evga 7950gx2 and am i correct in saying that the cards come pre-overclocked?

cheers

coolbits  It is an overclock reg entry, it is for overclocking, however if you install it, it will show you your current MCF and CCF

well my stock setting are 1200-500, i ran the optimal settings test and it put it up to 1300-550.  my temps are sitting at 62, i think i heard that this is normal for a 7950gx2.

what temp should my card not go past to be safe

62c is high, but I suppose newer cards run really hot...but my x800xl reboots my PC if it hits 60c, so might wanna return to stock speed.....not like you need the performance boost anyway.

Either will show you your clock/memory speeds, as well as let you overclock(if you're into that sort of thing )

Both good programs, coolbits just adds a entry into you reg, ridiculously small.  That's why I like it.
