BF2S Forums G36E: Assault Rifle or Carbine?

Well I thought it was a carbine for that very same reason until just recently, being that it was a member of the G36 family. But I've been using it for a while lately and my kills with it haven’t been going up. I’ve also been using assault rifles so I cant be sure if the kills have counted to that or not.

Thanks guys. I only wanted to know because im trying to get my kill to death ratio up with carbines as it sucks at the moment, and using the G36E hasn’t been helping much
