is there any way that i can get my X700 PRO to go into 1280x720 for my widescreen monitor?
Ive had it for a while and have tried changing the resolution many times but there is nothing that dosent look a little bit streched on my monitor. The text isnt sharp or anything because im in 1280x960. Is there any way i can get it into 1280x720?

I think ATI Catalyst Control can do something about that, not sure though.

1 +szx 1280 +szy 720

thanks alot dude! i found it in some setting i overlooked and even though i had to force the resolution it did go into it. Now everything looks VERY sharp i love it! thanks everyone

BTW: check out my case mod in my sig, i did it this weekend

Just want to add, when you use the shortcut switch to force widescreen res, in the graphics options in-game it'll show 800x600. Don't change this, as it will negate the shortcut setting and revert to 4:3 aspect resolution.
