I thought it had a red dot scope?
I swear I played a round of SF (forget map/team) and it had a red dot scope?
Unlocked it and in BF2 van. it has iron sights (have not tried it in SF again).

Perhaps I had to many drags off the crack pipe?

I did a search on this one and did not see anything so don't flame me if posted already.

Thanks,

1. red dot scope on MG36 is REAL-LIFE STATS.

2. the g36e has 2 firing modes= auto and burst (G36K has burst & single while the C variant just has auto & single shot)

and goes any1 notice that most or half the weapons in bf2 & SF are made by H&K (dont know the full name, something like Hekeler & Kotch

Makes some good guns but they are not cheap.  Specially the pistols!

Just wrong. The G36E (medic-unlock) has single and burst fire. The G36K is only available at SAS in SF and is similar to the G36C (vanilla Spec-OP-unlock), but has a longer barrel...

Btw: The MG36 is a great weapon, much better than the PKM...

Love my MG36. Seems to be more accurate than the PKM, but does less damage. And.... it looks cooler. I don't know about you all, but in the heat of battle, I can't be caught running around with some pos looking gun. Ain't happenin'

Oh, and I also like the Med's G36 variant, single shot mode. I hate anything weapon on burst mode.

Oh, and while I am at it, why did they use the friggin M95 instead of the M82a1? Stupid bolt action 50 cal. I almost prefer the Dragunov to the M95 and M24. Of course it could be my bullets don't seem to kill anything, but c'mon, maybe in sf they could've switched the barrett to use a mag, instead of a single shot.

I bet you are thinking of the scar h that the seals have. It has a red dot.

Hmm. I tried the M36 off a deadman's hand, and it was fairly nice, basically a Spec-Ops G36 with more ammo, more of a spray and pray. I like the PKM alot because of it's mean damage and sound.   I will unlock the M36 and F2000 next. I've heard different about the M36, but it's all in what you play the most.

I can tell you... basically all the G36, MP5, MP7 are based on the G3 design (which was invented in the '50s), while the MP5 is quite obvious, the MP7 and G36 are quite modern and different looking...

As for the pistols, the SpecOps should actually have a USP Tactical or SOCOM Mk23 instead of the 92FS, just because they are both pistols used by SpecOps... though the Marines AFAIK also sometimes use Revolvers because of their durability.

HK also makes a really cool semi auto sniper rifle called the PSG, unfortunately that thing is about 5 grand.

There you can find some info in HK guns

Fore-runner to the H&K G3's was the Spanish manufactured CETME (7.62 x 51mm) - the only major difference between them was the rear "flip" sight, which Pretty much sucks compared to the later H&K "drum" style.

Of course you obviously imply that you have ample experience with the CETME to justify that comment - perhaps you could be a bit more precise with your criticism . . .

Sure. I have quite a bit of experience in this area. I've shot several of these and have known several folks who own one. To be fair, for the price, around $350 for one of the "better" models, its a fun gun to shoot. Just don't look for much in the way of accuracy past 100 meters. Also, the gun is very prone to jamming if you don't keep everything just so. Seems very hit-and-miss and not something that is easily identified and dealt with.

While some folks have had luck with their cetme, there just doesn't seem to be a majority that have. Having shot M1A1s, FALs, AKs, Uzis & AR15s...I prefer the simplicity, accuracy and cost of the FAL. But my favourite is the M1A1. Would like to try a G3 some time, but the bulk of it is a little much for me.
