hmm. Weapons aren't required for self-defense here in finland. I use them as "toys" an for hunting.. but parker, how is the full-auto m16? is it good to shoot?
i really dont care for the full auto setting on any of the armalites. past 10 yards you wont hit shit with auto, even on 3 shot burst which is standard on the A4. the M4 has full auto capabilities. i just dont like them unless they are on single shot.
IMO when you start shooting anything chambered for a rifle round automatic is pretty useless. it beats the shit out of you and you dont hit anything you were aiming at.
now for full auto sub guns are the way to go. the MP5 is probably the most popular. its size, round and cyclic rate of fire are all the best. its so small and 9mm is such a little bitch of a round its like shooting a toy. it sounds like a joke but im serious. the thompson would be another, it kicks harder and is definitly bigger, a slower rate of fire but you can actually unload a clip without too much deviation. it almost is a rythm you need to get into, and once you do it is pretty accurate fire.......

Ok. I only asked 'cos I only have shot an RK 62/95 (Finnish Army's Assault Rifle, very similar to AK's) on full auto. Never any AR -weapons..Parker wrote:
