I recently had to wipe my hard drive on my other box. I put the hard drive back in and everything is find. It boots to windows fine but the internet doesn't work. I looked on the windows install disc for ethernet drivers and couldn't find any. Do I need ethernet drivers to get the internet to work ? If so could someone post a link so I can download the drivers and burn them to transfer them to my other pc. Thanks.

What is your motherboard manufacturer if you are using a onboard LAN.

First thing to do when reinstalling your OS is put in your mobo disk and install the drivers.

If you no longer have the disk, like these cats said, goto your mobo's website and dl the drivers.

If it a store bought comp, the drivers will be on the restore disk.  No need to run the disc's, just have windows search for the drivers within those cd's.

If you do not have those cd's, again, goto the manufacture and dl the drivers.
