I play MusicMan "John Petrucci" 7-strings exclusively and I really think you should try one out.

Best 7 string I've ever played.
* VERY nice oiled neck.
* Locking tuners (no need for a locking trem then)
* Contoured body so your arm rests comfortably while playing
* In the middle position you have the 2 center coils on for a nice clean sound.
* Also available with piezo.

You can build a custom one from ibanez or fender, thats what I did with my bass. But those sick racing stripes i did myself

The musicman Petrucci, gaaaaah. Played the 6string version once. Not my taste at all. The other guitarist of my band plays this 7string and imo compared to a Ibanez RG 7, especially with EMG 707 humbuckers, the musicman isnt a match Well, Mr. Petrucci knows what he wanna play (played Ibanez UVs and signatures before).

But like somebody said before, it must fit your requierements.

Fawk, i was like 2 centimeters from a flying pick... omgs Yngwie Malmsteen rocks

He also whipped out the acoustic ovation viper twice, this time the black one to perform on... amazing stuff.

Derek Sherinian was there too, amazing, and P-Pirate Johannson and Micky the bassist.

But yeah I think i'll check out some other guitars tomorrow. I'll try and find any pertrucci models if they exist near me at all.

I want to start playing the guitar, i have been thinking about starting up for ages, my little bro has this acoustic beast i fuck around on, i would just love to learn how to play, i have a few guys i know that can play really good.

Anyway can you guys find me a good starter package (electric guitar btw, not acoustic) to get me going, my budget is £200, with an amp aswell.

Or suggest some good brands or BAD ones i should avoid.

desk, (it is mine), anyways, my bridge is liftin up, almost seems like the strings' tensions is ripping it off. Do

hell yeah, old acoustics sometimes have the best sound.

use a lower gauge string.. that sounds like the problem.. it happened on my Ibanez.. i used too high a gauge of string and the floyd rose trem nearly warped.
